A man who lives in Nyabond wanted a "Mormon"
funeral for his son so we went to do a funeral.
The first part was to be done by the family but when we
arrived they wanted Elder Moon to be the
Master of Ceremonies
so he passed it on to Brother Zaddock.
Family of the son who died.
Beautiful arrangements.
This kind man walked back and forth as a soldier keeping
watch of the area. Very official looking!
Members of the family giving "testimonies"
Mother of the man who died and her support sisters.
Father of the man who died.
Brother Zaddock speaking and announcing.
Stephen giving the "family Prayer"
Elder Moon giving announcements/instructions.
We sang hymns, had an eulogy and the
Gospel taught by Elder Moon,
and prayed.
Good meeting!!

Members of the congregation.
Friends and family.
Members passing by the family and leaving financial help
in the blue tub on the table.
A friend, Father, Father's first wife and
Father's second wife (mother of the son.
Placing the coffin on the burial place.
Then the men began filling the grave....
...while the members of the Church stood nearby singing hymns.
Meantime food for the guests was being prepared in a nearby tent.
Food cooked and ready to be served when the service was completed.
How thankful I am for the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!
