SISTER ERICAH'S STITCHES

September 24, 2013
Sister Ericah had surgery several days ago and she called
and wanted us to come to take her to the nearest "hospital"
so her stitches could be removed.
We went up but she only needed  to go short distance to
This is the "clinic" we took her to get them removed.
It was along the main road.
On the right with the blue sign is an MPESA where you can
get money transferred. Next to it on the left is a Chemist (drug store).
Straight in the middle is the clinic.
The doorway into the clinic.
The front part is the sidewlk in the front with a
bench there for waiting patients or anyone
else who may want a rest and visit.
Inside the blue doors is the waiting area in the clinic.
It was a very small area.
The entry to the exam area is through the
curtained area straight in.
A better view of the waiting area.
The curtained area is the entry to the exam area.
A very small room contained the examining tools.
The door on the left is open and through the door is the exam bed.
This is the bed and room for exams.
The room was the length of the bed and the width was the
width from the corner of the bed to the waste bin in the other corner.
Not very big - but cozy. Notice the torn pillow cover.
This was the delivery table where
one or two babies are delivered each month.
This is Sister Ericah and the nurse demonstrating how one
would sit here to be checked in, questioned and vitals taken.
The doorway leading to the left goes into the equipment room
and just inside and to the left is the exam room..
To Sister Ericah's right is the door leading left to the waiting area
and then there is the delivery table.
The table is as long as the room is wide here
running along the right side of Sister Ericah.
Another view of the area.
Outside was this cute child in the dirt.
Back at Ericah's we were served a tasty banana and
we shared some scriptures together. A nice visit.
The road leaving from her area.
A nearby church with a ladder leading to the belfry!!
