December in Kisumu
We do most of our shopping at a new mall called
Mega City.
There is a large grocery store that also has
clothes and household supplies -
It may be likened to Wal Mart.
Nakumatt (the grocery store)m has been
open for a long time but the rest of the mall has been
under construction.
In the mall is also a school and a health clinic.
We were very interested in December to watch the workers
take the contact paper off the tiles that had been put
on the ceiling after the tiles had been put in place.
It took at least two weeks to take the paper off the tile.

All of the Nakumatt stores in Kenya have a
large elephant near the entrance.
We have two herein Kisumu.
I hope you can see the Christmas "mural"
behind me and the lights that show,
That was most of the Christmas decorations we saw.
