All sixteen senior couples from the
Kenya Nairobi Mission
came from Kenya and Tanzania
to the Mission Home in Nairobi for Thanksgiving.
Delicious food was attractively arranged on the dining table.
We all filled and re-filled our plates and ate in the
living room as we visited.
Food was provided and prepared
by each couple and a complete
and very traditional American feast was had by all!
President and Sister Broadbent had found TWO
whole turkeys at the store!!
I understand that last year they served
turkey pieces because there was no whole turkeys to be found.
Carving a turkey can be an art and here are the
best of the best carvers!!

After dinner we played a get-to-know you game,
learned some trivia about Thanksgiving,
We divided into groups and presented things we
were thankful for...there were many different areas
of thankfulness!
In our groups we acted out some holiday songs
that was really entertaining!
Here are some pictures of that experience.....
All together outside the mission home!!
We had a very enjoyable time.
