On Sunday March 3
we went to Kilili with Elder and Sister Olsen
to attend the branch church services.
Elder and Sister Hall were serving here but went home
in January. Elder and Sister Olsen have been invited
to visit the branch here and the others that
Elder and Sister Hall served in so the people can have a
connection to a couple and receive a little
help and guidance in their branch.

There had been a lot of work done on the branch meeting place
and everything looked to nice, clean and new.
This is the chapel area.
There are two entrance doors to the church.
One is just beyond Elder Olsen and the other is in the
same wall to the left of the picture.

KARIBU. Welcome and we were blessed to be here!!
On the wall opposite the entry doors is a door in the center
that leads to this alley between the classrooms and offices.
The big black tank at the end is the water supply.
Elder Moon and Sister Moon in the front of the building.
Following the services we visited the Elder's home -
just down the road and back a ways.
The home was clean and they were pleased to have their
picture taken with a picture of whom they serve!!

The Elder's home - large for such a home.
AROUND THE VILLAGE
I was amazed at the huge tree growing across the area.
Homes in the area.
Tomorrow this stand will be filled with wares to sell.
Probably fruits and veggies.
This was near the church entrance.
Buildings along the road in the village.
THE COUNTRY SIDE GOING TO NAIROBI
I was very amazed at the country we traveled through.
The pictures do not do it justice.
All of the hills are terraced and full of crops.
Beautiful terraces to grow crops for their livelihood!!
Across the valley!
Beautiful Country!!
This turn shows the rocks jutting out where the earth
was cut away for the road.
The areas we traveled through are so lovely right now.
Homes were situated in different areas of the hills.
We traveled 3 hours west then north of Nairobi to reach
the village of Kilili. Elder and Sister Hall were serving here and
they returned to their home in January and as yet there is
no couple to replace them.
This area needs a missionary couple to help in the branch to
teach and train them to do what we do so naturally at home.
Look at the terracing!!!
I think it is amazing!!
Anyone reading this and is in a situation to serve a mission
GET READY AND COME TO AFRICA!!
MAYBE YOU'LL ENJOY LIFE A
LITTLE MORE!!!!
