We traveled to Eldoret for Zone Conference.
The missionaries come from Kisumu, Busia,
Kitale and Eldoret and the surrounding branches.
We took Sister Eisis and Sister Musana with us and
crossed the equator on the way.
After a morning of wonderful meetings of great counsel
and wonderful testimonies we had a
BANANA CHIQUITA
break
Everyone gets a BANANA....
Everyone gets in a CIRCLE...
Refresh the mind with the WORDS...
Then those who are going home next transfer get in the
MIDDLE....and DANCES....
Then others take their turn to DANCE
Then come the real treat EAT the BANANA...

Elder Simcock looks not quite so sure about all this....
The eating begins...
Even the most classy ones enjoy this time.

After more meeting and before interviews it it time for lunch.
Thanks to some great sisters who prepare a
great Kenyan lunch.

Beef soup, vegetables, fried cabbage salad, rice,
chapati,
Great place to visit and eat....
The step is lined with great missionaries.
While some are being interviewed some are
learning to tie the
ELDREDGE KNOT
with their ties.
Elder Moon gives good directions and they follow..
Elder just about has it,,,,
Elder Simcock has a very narrow tie and it
doesn't tie very well...
But he does learn!!
Training, singing, lunch and clean-up is all finished.
President and Sister Broadbent, Sister and Elder Hunter,
Elder and Sister Moon go out to relax
and eat dinner together.
This was a great conference!
President and Sister Broadbent are going home next month
so there was some very emotional time together.
They are wonderful people and great leaders.
WE WILL MISS THEM!!
