For nearly two weeks Tom had called us periodically
requesting us to visit him and tell him about the church.
There were also others who wanted to know about it.
Because it was difficult to understand him
President Okila helped us make the arrangements
and the place to meet them.
So he travel with us.
We thought it was near Kakamega but we
arived there and then we went
ON AND ON!!
Nearly to Eldoret we met Tom at
the side of the road and took
him to their compound for the meeting!
This is most of the group we met to discuss the
belief and teachings of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
They were worshippers in the Pentecostal Faith.
We had a very good two hour meeting.
This is looking out over the surrounding area.
This is a BEAUTIFUL country!!
As we left we went down a steep hill...
...and a flat area with walkers.
We referred Tom to the Eldoret missionaries because
they are so much closer than we are.
