After leaving the school in Manyatta we found President Okila
and his wife and went to the home of Isaac and Elizabeth
up-country. We had some business there and while we
were there we had "tea"and lunch.
We joked together as President Okila poured the water for
Sister Okila to wash her hands before we ate.
They are a great couple!!
Isaac, Elizabeth, Elder Moon, Sister and President Okila.
We then went to the Home of President Okila and
there we were served bread, soda and home grown bananas!!
The front of their home.
Notice the blue bucket in the front of the house. It is to catch the rain
from the rain gutter along the rook. It has a tin can spout.
We were invited to look at the shamba and
here are some maize and banana "trees".
We had a great day with three visits
in one day.
In each place we gave a message of love
and in the homes we also gave a message
of the Gospel and how it blesses our lives as we live it!!
Have similar experienceswith great families
by serving a mission
fro the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
