We had called Hesbon
to visit him and finally the day had arrived.
We had wanted to go alone and felt
that we could find it but after
counseling with President Okila we decided we should
take someone with us.
We met Justin in Majengo and continued
on the way to Serem.
Hesbon's wife, Justin, and Hesbon.
Hesbon and his wife.
We had a good visit.
Because of the other circumstances
the visit wasn't as good as we had hoped it would be
but we enjoyed visiting with them.
He has not been to church for
more than two years and we encouraged him to come back.
He said he would come in two weeks and he did!!
A view of the countryside.
This is a beautiful area and country!!
A home at the side of the road. BRICK!!
Many places we have been they "mine" rock! and this
was one of those areas.
The people take rock and break them into smaller pieces.
People - men, women and children -
will sit for hours hitting rock with a little hammer to
break the rock to the size that is needed.
They are sold by the ton to be used in roads or concrete.
