Another trip to Busia for Saturday training and
Sunday meetings. We enjoy going there!!
Peter is a highlight of the trip. He is 3
and is planning to attend the temple in December.
Great day for him!!
Following the training meetings on Saturday the
members all join in to clean the buildings and
trim the yard.
"Mowing" the grass is done by using a slasher.
President Imende also uses the slasher!!
Elder Moon gave it a good try.
Hard to see the slasher but it is there.
On our way home on Sunday we traveled a different
route and were surprised to see many, many
people walking along the road. We wondered where they
were coming from or going toward.
We traveled several kilometers with people
like this along the way.
After passing a large school to the side of the road
there were large groups of people walking along the road
going the opposite direction.
There must have been something at the school
that brought the people from the villages and
now they must have been going to their homes.
A great week-end!!
Get those mission papers in so you, too,
can experience life in Africa and learn
how to live in another culture
and how to slash your grass when the mower is broken!!
