ISAAC AND ELIZABETH

April 26, 2013
Isaac and their family are planning to go to the
temple in December.
Part of that preparation is participating in the
Temple Preparation Class
which is taught each Sunday following Church meetings.
Due to lack of funds it is difficult for Elizabeth to come to
church every week.
We planned to go to their home and present a
lesson to her so we went on the 26th.
President Okila, Alex from Luanda and
Justine also attended.
Justine is her father and is the SS President.
While we were visiting a friendly lizard was spotted
running along the breams of the ceiling.
They are friendly because they do not bother the
household but they enjoy eating the mosquitoes
and other bugs that come into the home.
This is  a close-up picture and really they are smaller
than this may indicate.
We arrived mid-morning and were served
mandazi (scones) and hot chocolate.
Justine, Alex, Isaac
These three men are selected by the Branch president
to care for and watch over the members in the Luanda
Vihiga area. They serve well.
We taught the lesson, had lunch of chicken with soup,
ugali, and rice.
Then we took pictures.
Isaac and Elizabeth with their children.
Wonderful family.
The family with two more in the back.
They are a sister to Elizabeth and a cousin.
As we were walking too out truck which we had
parked in a neighbor;s compound Elizabeth asked that
I take a picture of her.
She is a very attractive and tender woman.
She is expecting a baby in May.
