PRESIDENT AND SISTER BROADBENT IN KISUMU

April 19, 2013
Friday the 19th was Zone Leader Conference
in Kisumu and President and Sister Broadbent
came with the Assistants for the Conference.
We invited them to eat around out table for their lunch
and they brought their food
and we enjoyed the time with them.
Great young men!!!!
After the meeting and interviews they had a little
free time so we took them to out little
Masaii Market.
Helen was a good hostess as always to show our
guests the way of the market.
President and Sister Broadbent with Helen.
We had not had our picture taken with Helen so we
took advantage of having the camera with to get a
photo with her.
She is a wonderful young mother and shop owner.
A nice bed was for sale and President and Elder Moon
took advantage of it for a needed rest following the
bargaining and shopping.
After the shopping we went to Dunga Bay
to see what was going on there.
More fish!!
These were fresh from the boat and needed to
be weighed and purchased.
Look at the size of that one.
This is the fileting table.
Elder Moon with a woman showing her purchase
to be cleaned and cooked.
These were already cleaned and fried and ready to be sold.
100 ksh per fish. Not today for us.
The selling and cooking and preparing is a great
social event I think.
The fire is burning and the oil is ready for the fish
to be fried.
Loved the name of this building!!!!!
Chicken are all over the area.
This is a good looking one!!
Click on this picture to see the reasons to wash hands
and when to do it!!
Relaxing after the fishing...
We finished at Dunga Bay in time for a
relaxing and delicious dinner
in a heavy rainstorm with very
close lightning and thunder!!
This was a great visit with
President and Sister Broadbent!!
