SISTER LORINE, MISSIONARY

January 24, 2013

Lorine received her mission call in December and the time

has arrived for her to leave.

She will serve in the Sierra Leone Freetown Mission.

We met at the church on January 23 for her to be 

set apart as a missionary.

President Chirchir of the mission presidency

was in town for priesthood interviews and to set 

her apart. After the interviews necessary for her

he set her apart.

 George has worked a lot with her in helping her

be ready spiritually for the mission.

We taught her the temple preparation lessons so

she would be prepared for that great event.

Lorine's father also came.

He is not a member of the Church.

President Chirchir took time to explain about a  mission

and what would be required of her.

It was very well done.

 On the 24th we went to her home in
Mynyatta to take her to the airport.

 Christine and Lorine have been good friends
and almost inseparable for quite a while
and joined the church about the same time.

Lorine flew to Nairobi and spent the night in a hotel.
On the 25the she flew to the MTC in Accra, Ghana.
She went to Sierra Leone on February 8.
